Art Event
Taft McWhorter’s Art Evening will begin with cocktail time for meet, greet, munching and mingling along with viewing his art in the studio. The artist, Taft McWhorter, will speak about his career, how he was drawn to art and point out some of his collaborations with other famous Houston artists. Taft may paint during the evening while speaking and then a raffle will be held for the piece of art. While the studio does have art for sale, this event is not aimed at selling participants’ the art. Any sales would be a bonus. In addition to his art, Taft has published a beautiful book with photos and stories showcasing Houston’s top 50 artists.
