ABOUT US

The Shell Alumni Association of Greater Houston (SAAGH) was established as a non-profit organization in 1991. SAAGH promotes fellowship and volunteerism among Shell alumni and fosters a connection with Shell. SAAGH’s mission is to be a vibrant, attractive and relevant organization for Shell alumni by providing events, activities, services, and volunteer opportunities that appeal to a wide range of interests throughout the Greater Houston community, and to keep people connected to each other while having fun doing it.

Membership is available to former Shell employees, age 50+, who have worked for Shell or any Shell subsidiary or affiliate company in the greater Houston area or spouses/partners of deceased members. Dues are $10 per year. At year-end 2024 we had nearly 1,000 members. During 2025 we plan to offer about three dozen varied events and about a half dozen volunteer activities. Read more about us by checking out our newsletters.

The organization is managed by a slate of officers and directors who are members of SAAGH and who volunteer their services to ensure the continued success of SAAGH.   If you are interested in serving in a leadership position, please let us know.
