Spring Member Luncheon - March 11th

Our annual spring luncheon on March 11th at the beautiful Junior League of Houston was enjoyed by all attendees.  Khambrel Marshall, KPRC Meteorologist and host of Houston Newsmakers was the guest speaker.  Khambrel is a very approachable, kind, and entertaining individual and spent time visting and talking with many of the luncheon attendees.  Thanks to Linda, Durant, Jose Solano and Carolyn Yapp for organizing the event.
Central Market Cooking Classes - March 9th

A good time and great food had by all at Italian Trattoria night at Central Market cooking school.  Thanks to Steve Paul and Carolyn Yapp for organizing.

The Green Book at Ensemble Theater - February 15th
On February 15th, Thirty-four SAAGH members and guest attended a sold-out performance of "The Green Book".  Prior to the production, the SAAGH group met for dinner at Davis Street at Hermann Park.  Thanks to SAAGH Vice President of Volunteerism, John Bowser for organizing.

Norman Rockwell Exhibit - January 28th

The Shell Alumni club organized and sponsored two docent led tours of the Norman Rockwell: American Freedom exhibit at the Museumof Fine Arts in late January.  More than 60 people attended.  The presentation explored how Rockwell's iconic depictions of the Four Freedoms oulined by President Franklin Roosevelt: Freedom of Speech, Freedom of Worship, Freedom from Fear, and Freedom from Want.  Thanks for Vanessa Fillman, SAAGH Director for organizing.
