The Brookwood Community Lunch and Tour
Please join us on Thursday, September 24, 2026, at The Brookwood Community for a delicious lunch and a tour.
Our time at The Brookwood Community will start with lunch at 11 a.m. at the Brookwood Café. Afterwards, around 12:30 p.m. the tour will commence with a brief video introducing Brookwood’s mission of serving adults with disabilities, followed by a short history of Brookwood and an opportunity for questions. Depending on the group’s mobility, guests will then take either a walking or driving tour of the campus, with the tour guide highlighting the various buildings and sharing information about each. The group will visit the Streit Building to observe Citizens at work before continuing to the north side of campus to see the Horticulture enterprise and greenhouses. The tour will conclude at the Gift & Garden Center and Café.
After the tour ends, if you’d like to shop in the amazing Brookwood gift shop, you’ll receive a 15% discount on purchases.
