Houston's Human Trafficking Problem

GUEST SPEAKERS: PATRICIA HOLMES AND MINAL PATEL DAVIS

The members or Shell Alumni of Greater Houston are invited to attend a free virtual event featuring Patricia Holmes and Minal Patel Davis, Director of the Office of Human Trafficking and Domestic Violence for the City of Houston.

This event will dive deep into the discussion of Houston's human trafficking problem. Join us as Patricia Holmes, author of Searching for Pilar, discusses her motivation for writing this story set in Houston. Searching for Pilar breaks open the secretive and dangerous world of human trafficking, while exploring human nature and our connections to each other. To make the discussion more meaningful, consider reading the book prior to the discussion.  Click here to purchase the book.

Minal Patel Davis will discuss her role, efforts in Houston to eliminate human trafficking and discuss how Houston is viewed as a leader in reducing human trafficking.
